I hope you are enjoying time with your loved ones. As I sit here relaxing with the hubby and the dogs, I find myself contemplating Hairfinity vitamins again, for about the hundredth time in the past month.
Back in the summer my niece suggested the hair vitamins to me right after my big chop. I immediately nixed the idea because I thought it was unnecessary. I wanted to enjoy learning about my hair and didn't care about speeding up the growth process. But after my disastrous trim in September, I felt discouraged by the setback. I starting researching hair vitamins but didn't feel the urge to buy anything. Then, I begin following Jenell B Stewart's (founder of Kinky Curly Coily Me) journey with the Hairfinity vitamins. I love Jenell's tutorials and other helpful videos that she does about natural hair care. After seeing her success with the vitamins, I purchased a one month supply.

I received the vitamins but I was still on the fence about taking them. There are so many mixed reviews of the vitamins that I'm conflicted. Some of the negative reviews cited acne, shedding and thinning of the hair just to name a few. The acne and shedding are a big concern for me. I originally planned on increasing my water intake and black tea rinses to hopefully combat those concerns. But, the thought of my thick hair thinning because of the vitamins scared me. I love my hair and I don't want to do anything that will cause damage. I know every experience is different but for me it boils down to: is it worth the risk?
For now the vitamins remain on my shelf and I don't know if I will take them. Maybe I will do a giveaway and let someone else try them out.
Stay tuned....
Have you tried Hairfinity? If so, what was your experience? Please feel free to comment below.
Merry Christmas!

I tired Hairfinity Vitamins and broke out with acne. .. I'm looking at trying GNC Ultra Nourish vitamins tho. I've read positive reviews about them.
ReplyDeleteYour review was one the reasons why I first started having second thoughts! I already have issues with acne flare ups and I don't want to add to it. I'll have to look into it for sure.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and Merry Christmas!!
