6 Months Post Relaxer + Big Chop Celebration

I did it [throws confetti in air and does a happy dance]!! Friday marked 6 months since my last relaxer. There was a rough patch there in mid January to early February but I got through it. Here's how I felt the whole day:

I can't believe in a few short hours, my transition will officially be over. To celebrate the new me, I'm having a Big Chop Celebration. The plan is to have dinner at Lucy Blue's on Main Street in OTR at 7 p.m. So if you want to see my new "hairdo", come have dinner and a few drinks with me. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for me to post pictures/video on my blog of my TWA (teeny weeny afro).
