Hello everyone!!
Figuring Out My TWA
I can't believe it's been two weeks since my last post! Since my big chop I've been trying to figure out styles for my twa and a nighttime routine. So far, I've experimented with two strand twists and twist outs. I know it's hard to believe but my hair is just long enough to do it :). I've also learned that I have to twist my hair every night or I will wake up with matted hair (matted hair = a pain in the butt in the morning). I usually twist my hair while watching my favorite tv shows. We'll see how my nighttime routine changes as my hair grows. My goal is to try finger coils and some other styles with my TWA in the next few weeks.

The Honey Hut Beauty Bar Boutique
Have you wanted to try an all natural hair product but it's only available online? Or have you wanted to see/try a natural product before buying it? Now you can thanks to The Honey Hut Beauty Bar Boutique. This cute natural hair and body boutique had a "sweet opening" this past Saturday in Over-the-Rhine. Although products such as Shea Moisture and Carol's Daughter are sold in Target, there are other natural hair products sold exclusively online. I had a blast trying out some of the products and talking to the owners. They were so helpful and very friendly. Of course I couldn't leave without buying something...I couldn't help myself.
If you're in the Cincinnati area, definitely check out the store. Like them on Facebook for more information about store hours and other news. I can't wait to go back!

My Exciting News
I'm happy to announce that I will be contributing to Thank God I'm Natural's blog. About a month ago one of my favorite bloggers announced they were looking for bloggers to contribute to the site. I decided to go for it. I've really focused on trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone this year.
My first blog post went live this morning. Be sure to check it out! Hopefully you'll see more of my posts there in the future.
Until next time :)!
Looks like a great store!
