Wash Day Recap | Another Updo

Here is a recap of Sunday's wash day.

[1] Pre-Poo: I parted my hair into four sections and applied Grapeseed Oil to each section with my hands.  I used this time to get rid of any shed hair that I had. I left the pre-poo on for about 15 minutes.

[2] Co-Washed with Shea Moisture's Cleansing Co-wash Conditioner in sections.

[3] Deep Conditioned with  Shea Moisture's Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow and Restore Treatment Masque. Using my Hot Head Deep Conditioning Heat cap, I let the deep conditioner sit on my hair for 10-15 minutes.

[4] Detangled with my Eternally In Amber wide tooth comb (the JBCO masque was still in my hair) for about 10-15 minutes.

Amount of hair I lost during the detangling process

[3] ACV Rinse: I sprayed the mixture on my hair, making sure to massage it into certain areas.

[4]  Dried my hair in twists overnight. I applied Jia's Caribbean Dream Cream by Tangles and Beyond Shea Moisture's JBCO Leave-In Conditioner and put my hair in twists to dry.

[5] Styled my hair : I used another BlakIzBeautiful tutorial for this week's hairstyle.

February Mini Challenge | Updo #4: French Roll/ French Twist with Bang

Happy Monday everyone!

Can you believe it is the last week of the February mini challenge? Crazy, right?! This week I wanted to have a little of my hair out, to spice it up a bit. So I chose the French Roll/French Twist with Bang by BlakIzBeautyful. I love her tutorials because they are easy to follow and the hairstyles are cute.

I'm going to wear this style for a few day, then take it down to moisturize it and put it back in the same updo. I had less tangles on wash day and perhaps adding more moisturize during the week played a part.
